6 Easy Ways to Improve Your Affiliate Offer

Affiliate Marketers frequently deal whith the question how to improve rather weak offers and how to turn already strong offers into real hot picks.

When it comes to “improving the offer”, certain things simply aren’t possible for Affiliate Marketers, like for instance to offer discounts or to deliver upgrades.

  • Show immediate benefits: Make the prospects realize, how they can put the product or service to use from the moment they buy it. Point out what you share in common.
  • “Airbag” your prospects and put their minds at ease: give theme a sense of security in making the purchase. Is there a guarantee, perhaps a refund policy? Very Good! Let them know the details. Make them realize that the transaction is secure. Remove as much risk as possible from the purchase.
  • Are there any additional incentives you could provide in conformity with the merchant? This should normally be no problem when you’re promoting infoproducts, membership sites etc. Sweeten up the offer by adding other products to the mix, to foster the purchase. Ever been to a fishmarket? Then you know that it’s simply done like “buy this … and I’ll throw in that … for free”
  • Raise the value percepted: The real value of any product or service is always in the prospect’s mind. You can increase that perception in many ways. Like for instance by guiding the prospect through a comparison of similar products or services, while pointing out why the one that you’re promoting is truly the best deal for his money.
  • Raise the value even more with intangibles: figure out what intangibles are attached to the offered product or services and “sell” them along with the offer to make it more valuable to the prospects. Some simply irresistable intangibles are prestige, distinctiveness, reliability, simplicity, personal customization etc.
