Wondering about the Video Wall in the Blogheader?

Some of you asked me about the video wall in the blogheader. As always I won’t leave you guessing. At least not for long …*-). Here’s the story behind:

This blog’s theme is based on the Neoclassical Theme by Chris Pearson.

I ran into this theme while looking for a new outfit for my German blog Erpscout, which is a special interest blog dealing with the Enterprise Resource Planning scene and market in Germany, Austria and Suisse, and comes alongside of my ERP Webguide.

Whe i discovered this theme, it instantly gripped me by the eyeballs, to speak Affiliate Marketers jargon *-).

It simply had everything, i was looking for in a blog theme: 3 columns, widgets and a fresh design that emphasizes simplicity, typography and visual clarity, the 3 primary components of effective communication design.

I completely agree with Chris, that no matter what kind of Web site you run, your goal is always the same: to communicate your message as effectively as possible to your intended audience. (1)

IMHO there is no better theme to do exactly this than the Neoclassical Theme. Period …*-).

But (isn’t there always a but?), even though it was love at first sight, i felt i had to pimp up the theme a bit for Emarketscout, to communicate a special message from me, to you, dear readers.

The theme comes with 5 rotating header images, 865px wide by 180px tall, relatively unobtrusive yet visually striking.

At first i replaced the header images with various fotos from leisure trips around the world. But the result did look more like a travel blog, which Emarketscout wasn’t meant to be.

What to do? Would brainy me find a clue? You bet i did … *-)

The solution i found was rooted in the special message i wanted to communicate.

If you have read my previous posts, you know that i believe in “The Secret”, respectively “The Secret Law of Attraction” (1, 2).

Knowing “The Secret” has changed my life to the better (but that’s another story). I was fascinated by it’s universal power and eager to learn about other peoples experiences with the Law of Attraction.

At this time i was already planning my global Emarketscout venture.

After being touched by “The Secret”, it was my aim to spread the news about “The Secret”, and to make other people realize, that they could achieve literally everthing they can think of.

At first, i wanted to help my friends from all over the world, who often suffered from poverty, to achieve financial freedom.

How? By telling them about “The Secret”, and by showing them at the same time ways how they can build up an online-business with little to no cost, but with soaring online-profits. Like for instance by becoming an Affiliate Marketer …

Well, my friends all get their Profit Briefing privatley by me meanwhile. But i wanted to go beyond my group of friends, i wanted to give something to the world …

Hence Emarketscout will stay public, and could truly be your Personal Guide To Soaring Online-Profits, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Heck, shouldn’t i have written down all this at the “About“-Page? (Okidoki, i will rewrit it later on …)

Anyway, back to the video wall.

I had watched a lot of videos about “The Secret” and peoples exeriences with “The Law of Attraction” in between. Then one day i discovered blinkx, the world’s largest and most advanced video search engine.

Blinkx allows you to embed video walls on your website. And Bingo! The idea for my “The Secret” video wall blogheader was born.

Yes, that’s what all the little videos are about: “The Secret”, “The Law of Attraction”, proof of its power and how to utilize it.

If you mouseover the video wall, you will see some controls there, and you will also realize that there are about 4775 pages with 18 small vids each. A lot of video stuff to learn about “The Secre”t and “The Law of Attraction”.

All yours to get inspired, to help you develop the right mindset for YOUR (online-) success.

PS. If the video wall turns completely black, then chances are that the blinkx servers are down. I experienced it already one time. Then the site does look quiet ugly, much to my dislike. Did i attract it? No! Shit happens … Any ideas how to avoid such a disaster?
