Should You Blog Or Not?
To blog, or not to blog: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?
What is blogging to you?
Fortune, fame or a sea of troubles?
Should you blog or not?
Are you thinking of starting a blog?
You might realize that you’re not made for blogging and blogging might not be made for you, if you read on
If you blog already, do you blog until you drop?
As an article in the New York Times revealed, a lot of bloggers already experience weight loss or gain, sleep disorders, exhaustion and other maladies, caused by the nonstop strain of producing for a news and information cycle that is always-on: the internet.
To cut to the chase: if you blog, especially if you blog to earn, you might endanger your life!
Because to get to the top of the food chain (and stay there), you have to keep on posting … and posting … and posting … until you drop.
Because if you stop posting, your traffic will stop too. It’s as simple as that.
Thus to blog or not to blog really is the question you should ask yourself.
Not only because of your health.
But also because blogging might not be the right way to build your online business.
Don’t just do it because everybody does it.
Ask yourself first, what is the core of your business (model).
Depending on your business model, you should decide what kind of website you need to run.
Do you really need a site that keeps your visitors on the cutting edge of your topic matter?
Constantly releasing the latest news and commentary, thoughts of the day etc. ?
If your answer is “yes”, then of course you should blog.
But if you answered “no”, then blogging isn’t the right way for you and your business.
Because you have better options to build your business and your online presence than just running a blog.
If you’re interested to learn more about these options, follow this link.
I’m quiet lucky that with my main business model being Affiliate Marketing, my main sources of income don’t lie in my blogs and websites.
So i can enjoy the freedom of my upcoming holiday, without feeling the stress to “generate” content everyday, on and on.
Yes, i’m taking a break …*-). That’s why during the next weeks new posts will only show up occasionally here, if at all. The same goes for Entrecard drops and ads.
But do i have to mention that even during my holidays i will scout profitable business opportunities for you? I can’t help it …*-) But that’s not work to me, it’s fun, my freedom and my privilege.
It’s like blog-pope Yaro Starak wrote recently:
“If you want true lifestyle freedom, you can’t follow the format of mass content publication with the hope of one day delivering enough pageviews to earn a full time living. This is certainly an attainable outcome for the average hard-working blogger, but you won’t have any freedom to enjoy the fruits of your labor because you will have to keep working or the cashflow will drop. Retirement is not an option in this case, only perpetual work is” (1).
Before you become a blog-slave like so many others, reconsider your business model.
You don’t need to blog to earn online.
To Your success,
Michael

I have to admit that I am somewhat “addicted” to blogging. The thing for me is that it’s fun. Money then becomes a bonus rather than a focus.
I think if money is *too* much of a focus in anything, you can work your way into the ground. In contrast, find something you love doing and see if you can make money doing that.
It’s the most satisfying way to earn an income.
Hello. I would like to talk with you about the advertisement at your Blog (www.emarketscout.com). Could you please contact me via email.
Waiting for your email.
Thank you
Money Is what drives many people to do what they love. For example I would have never started blogging if I didn’t know there was SOO much money to be made.
However, now I don’t really pay too much attention to the money. It’s a nice bonus but it’s also nice to know that there are people out there who actually care about your opinion. Blogging is just a way of finding those. people.

I started blogging just because of curiosity and that went on to discovering earning potentials. Great stuff you got here Michael!

I started blogging initially as a way of getting ideas down on paper, and never really understood what the fuss was all about. It wasn’t until I applied myself, and realised that it is *the* best way to network - that I started to get it. Also the more content you generate, the more visitors you will attract, and for that reason - its a must for any online business.
